Patients Management

Patient Profile

Review patient identity, profile records, and clinical history in the three-column workspace.

The patient profile connects medical review, clinical documentation, treatment planning, billing, and follow-up in one workspace.

Patient journey

Before treatment

  • Medical Profile covers medical alerts, questionnaires, consent forms, and self check-in.

During treatment

After treatment

  • Follow Ups covers the next appointment or follow-up action.

The three-column layout

Column 1: Patient identity and actions

The first column is the patient's identity card. It can show:

  • profile photo and full name;
  • birthday, age, and gender;
  • MRN;
  • initial-patient or group indicators;
  • credits or debts summary;
  • Call and Text shortcuts;
  • Edit Profile and patient actions.

Use Edit Profile when you need to update the patient's personal information. Use Call or Text to start a communication workflow without leaving the patient record.

The identity column can also show actions such as Self Check-In, appointment tasks, conversation recording, and integrations when they are enabled for your clinic.

Column 2: Profile details and records

The middle column contains the patient's profile cards and record lists. Select a card to open its details. Depending on your permissions and clinic configuration, this area can include contacts, calls, messages, storage, recalls, requests, or other record groups.

Some record groups have their own status filters. For example, a record list may let you switch between all statuses and specific status groups.

The middle column can be widened when you need to read longer records or inspect a detailed item.

Column 3: Clinical history

The right column contains the clinical history. Use its toolbar and tabs to choose which section to display.

The clinical history can include:

  • Overview, which provides the medical-profile summary;
  • Dental Chart;
  • Diagnostics;
  • Radiographs;
  • Ortho Photos;
  • Vitals;
  • Clinical Notes;
  • Treatment;
  • Perio Chart;
  • Follow Up, documented separately in Follow Ups.

The exact order and visibility of these sections are configurable. Overview is the fixed starting section; the other sections can be arranged or moved out of the active history view.

Select the appointment context

The history toolbar can show All History or a selected appointment. When you select an appointment, sections that support appointment context can focus on that visit's procedures, findings, notes, images, and follow-up.

Use the appointment selector when you want to:

  • review what was recorded during one visit;
  • add treatment to a specific appointment;
  • connect a clinical exam or note to a visit;
  • inspect images or follow-up related to that appointment.

Use All History when you want the patient's broader record instead of one visit.

Resize the profile

Drag a divider between columns to change the layout:

  • make the identity column wider to read contact details;
  • make the profile-records column wider to inspect a selected record;
  • make the history column wider for clinical work.

The selected history section stays open while you resize the columns.

For medical alerts, questionnaires, consent forms, and self check-in, continue with Medical Profile. For clinical records, continue with Treatment History.
