Provider Salary Report

Review salary totals, base pay, production, expenses, tax, net salary, and salary model settings.

Open Reports → Salaries.

Salaries explains how provider salary totals are calculated for the selected period. Depending on permissions, the tab may appear as Salary and show only the current user's own salary view.

Salary reporting depends on user salary rules, procedure setup, inventory production, expenses, tax rules, and the selected calculation model.

Salary models

The Salaries report includes model selectors that control how totals are interpreted:

  • Base Pay can be calculated from total worked time or busy hours.
  • Performance can be reviewed as commission or total payments.
  • Commission can use discounted or standard calculation rules.

Use the model selectors before reviewing salary totals. Changing the model changes how the report explains base pay, performance pay, expenses, tax, and net salary.

What Salaries contains

The main summary cards show:

  • Total Revenue;
  • Total Salaries;
  • Total Tax To Pay;
  • Total Expenses.

Each card can show a trend compared with the previous period.

User Salaries list

The User Salaries list shows salary rows by user.

Use:

  • Search to find a user;
  • sorting tabs to compare by net salary, base pay, payments, expenses, or tax;
  • Show More when there are many users;
  • row expansion to review the calculation behind a salary total.

Expanded salary details

Open a user row to review:

  • Base Pay: total base pay, regular or monthly pay, overtime, total hours, and busy hours.
  • Payments: procedure production and inventory production that contribute to performance pay.
  • Expenses: total expenses, procedure expenses, inventory expenses, and expense categories.
  • Tax: amount before tax and total tax.
  • Net Salary: final salary after the selected rules, expenses, and tax calculations.

Use the expanded view when a salary total needs to be audited before payroll approval.

Salary Rules

The Salaries page includes a Salary Rules area. Use it as a reminder that salary output depends on how each user is configured.

Review user salary settings when a provider's result looks wrong or incomplete. Also review procedure setup when a procedure should be included or excluded from salary reporting.

Useful features

  • Select the correct date range before reviewing payroll.
  • Select the branch when salary review should be branch-specific.
  • Choose the salary model before comparing users.
  • Search and sort users by the payroll question you are answering.
