Two-step verification

Set up two-step verification for your Dentaltap account and use it to protect clinic access.

Two-step verification adds an extra check after your password. When it is enabled, you need your password and the verification method configured for your account before Dentaltap lets you sign in.

Complete two-step verification

  1. Sign in with your Dentaltap email and password.
  2. When prompted, open the verification method connected to your account.
  3. Enter the current verification code or approve the sign-in request.
  4. Continue to your Dentaltap workspace.

The exact verification screen depends on the method enabled for your account. Follow the instructions shown on screen and do not share verification codes with anyone.

If you cannot complete verification

  • Make sure you are using the current code, not an expired one.
  • Check that your device has the correct time if you use time-based codes.
  • Use an available recovery option if Dentaltap shows one.
  • Contact your clinic administrator if you lost access to your verification method.

Administrators should review account access when a team member changes device, role, or employment status.
