Procedure Template Settings

Configure procedure templates for appointment booking, treatment planning, grouped procedures, languages, and online booking.

Open Settings → Prices → Templates.

The production URL is Templates.

Templates group one or more procedures into a reusable service. They help the clinic schedule common visits, build treatment plans faster, and support online booking when enabled.

What Templates control

A template can include:

  • template name and description;
  • duration;
  • included procedures and quantities;
  • chart category and appointment grouping;
  • online booking availability;
  • photo or visual identity;
  • translated content for multiple languages.

Use templates for common appointment or treatment bundles, such as consultation, cleaning, whitening, implant review, or emergency visit.

Multiple languages

Templates support language tabs for name and description. Add translations when templates are visible to patients through online booking or patient-facing workflows.

Create Template

  1. Open Settings → Templates.
  2. Click Create Template.
  3. Enter the template name and description.
  4. Set the duration.
  5. Add included procedures and quantities.
  6. Choose chart category or appointment grouping when needed.
  7. Enable Online Booking if patients should be able to book this template.
  8. Add translations using language tabs when needed.
  9. Save the template.

Reorder templates

Templates can be reordered in the list. Put the most common or most important templates near the top so staff can find them quickly.

Update Template

Open the template, update name, description, duration, procedures, online booking, category, photo, or translations, then click Save Changes.

Review templates after changing included procedures. The change can affect appointment duration, treatment planning, and online booking behavior.

Delete Template

Use the row action menu or open the template and click Delete.

Delete templates only when the clinic no longer uses that service bundle. If the bundle changed, updating or cloning may be better than removing it.
